Organisation and relationships

This page explains the roles associated with IESG's company services, EducationB2B operations and ICEQC application support. The nature of a relationship determines what a visitor can reasonably rely on it to establish.

The company behind this website

International Education Services Group is the company name used throughout iepx.org. The legal entity is INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SERVICES GROUP LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 17405433.

The company provides services under the scope it accepts. A service agreement identifies the contracting party, activities and responsibilities relevant to the particular engagement.

Company information

EducationB2B operations

EducationB2B is an international education partnership platform for education providers, recruitment organisations and specialist service partners. IESG provides platform technology and operational services.

The platform's own website is the source for its membership routes, eligibility process and operating rules. A company-services discussion with IESG is a separate route from an application for platform membership.

The platform's relationship with IASCU

EducationB2B's published information describes it as the international education partnership platform of the International Association for Schools, Colleges and Universities, or IASCU. It identifies IASCU's role in network standards and professional assessment frameworks alongside IESG's technology and operations role.

These are specific roles. When information relates to a platform rule, framework or membership decision, the relevant platform information should be consulted rather than inferring an entitlement from a reference to IESG.

ICEQC application support

IESG supports ICEQC applicants within its applicable authorisation. An institution should use the official partner verification service to check authorisation against the case it proposes.

An authorised support relationship defines permitted activities. It should not be used to imply that IESG controls ICEQC standards, makes certification decisions or can alter the status of a certificate.

Agreements and decisions

The organisation named in an agreement is responsible for the commitments it accepts. A referral to another provider does not, by itself, make IESG a party to that provider's contract. An institutional partnership requires the participating organisations to agree its terms through their authorised representatives.

For any proposed activity, ask who is providing the service, who receives a payment, who holds the information and who can make the decision required. These questions should be resolved in the relevant service, platform or application documentation.

Names, marks and information

A third-party name or link identifies the relationship or resource being discussed. It does not imply ownership, endorsement or authority beyond that relationship. Certification claims and marks must relate to the correct holder and scope.

Personal information may be handled by different organisations for different purposes. The relevant privacy notice and agreed information-sharing arrangements should be considered for the activity involved.
