ICEQC certification support

Prepare an application around your institution's actual provision, responsibilities and evidence. IESG supports education organisations with the practical work involved in preparing and coordinating an ICEQC certification application.

Our authorised support role

IESG provides ICEQC application support within its applicable authorisation. Before case arrangements are agreed, the relevant legal entity, service activities and authorisation coverage should be matched to the proposed application.

Use ICEQC's official partner verification service to check the published authorisation. Search using the complete legal name, INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SERVICES GROUP LTD, and read the scope of the result.

Start with the proposed scope

A school, a group of schools and an international programme within a school may involve different entities, activities and responsibilities. Preparing a useful application begins by identifying what is being submitted and who is accountable for it.

Our initial discussion considers the institution's legal identity, the education activities concerned, the sites and delivery arrangements, and the people responsible for the work. This helps your team organise preparation around a coherent description of provision.

Scope and eligibility

Support through the preparation process

Organising requirements and evidence

We help your team establish a working index linking the proposed scope to relevant documents and operating records. Preparation should make the institution's evidence easier to locate and understand while preserving its original source and meaning.

Requirements and evidence

Institutional self-review

A structured internal review can identify information gaps and work your institution needs to address. Where commissioned, our assistance provides an action record with responsibilities and follow-up arrangements.

Self-review and gap analysis

Application coordination

We coordinate the agreed preparation tasks, material versions, institutional confirmations and communications within the applicable application arrangements. Your institution reviews and confirms the information for which it is responsible.

Application coordination

Corrective-action support

Where an institution needs assistance responding to a formal finding, support can focus on organising its actions, responsibilities and evidence. The institution must carry out the necessary work and provide an accurate account of what has been done.

Continuing support

Institutions may also need assistance maintaining their internal records, planning follow-up activity and coordinating information about material changes.

What your institution should prepare

For an initial discussion, provide a brief account of:

  • The legal organisation responsible for the education activity.
  • The institution, programme or provision you want to discuss.
  • The locations and delivery methods involved.
  • Your present stage of preparation or existing case reference, if applicable.
  • The person responsible for coordinating the institution's response.
  • Any deadlines or changes affecting the proposed work.

An initial enquiry does not require a complete evidence file. Please do not send student records, identification documents or confidential case material through the general enquiry form. An appropriate transfer arrangement should be established for any later document exchange.

What support can produce

Depending on the agreed activities, the working outputs can include a scope brief, evidence index, preparation schedule, record of information requests, action tracker and institutional confirmation record.

The purpose is to give your institution a usable record of its preparation and responsibilities. Each output should identify its owner and date, and distinguish a draft from information confirmed for formal use.

Who makes the certification decision?

ICEQC is responsible for certification verification and decisions. IESG's application support does not confer authority to determine conformity or issue a certificate. Our role is described alongside the responsibilities of the applicant and ICEQC.

Roles and independence

For a certificate already in use, consult the official register rather than relying on an image or a statement on another organisation's website.

Service arrangements and planning

Understand which support activities are included, which are optional and how the work will be organised before agreeing an engagement. Our fees and timeframes page distinguishes IESG service arrangements from ICEQC's own rules.

Questions institutions often ask

Must every document be prepared before we contact IESG?

No. A brief description of the institution, proposed scope and current stage is sufficient to begin a support enquiry. The preparation plan can then identify the information required.

Can support cover a programme within a larger school?

The proposed provision should be described precisely, including who operates it and how it relates to the host institution. The appropriate scope and support coverage must be established for the case.

Can an existing policy be used as evidence?

A policy may be relevant, but the institution also needs to consider the operating records that show how it is applied. Preparation should preserve that distinction rather than treating a document title as proof of implementation.
